FANZINE

BUG IA is an innovative fanzine created by Katia Maugeri, Alisea Scuderi, Eleonora Silvestri, and Eric Alex Turel. It explores the relationship between people and artificial intelligence (AI) through provocative and visually deceptive content. The title, a play on words, suggests that the entire fanzine is a "lie." In fact, while it claims that the texts and images are created by AI, all the material is produced by the authors.
The fanzine uses four distinctive fonts and conceptual photographs, created with various techniques, to confuse the reader and stimulate reflection on the relationship between art and AI. Manually designed and printed in two colors, blue and green, BUG IA represents the duality between cold technological precision and biological life.
Through QR codes linked to real articles, readers can explore accurate themes about AI, ranging from films and short films to exhibitions and medical applications. BUG IA is a social experiment that invites critical and informed reflection on artificial intelligence.
